Mercury emission from coal

Minamata Online Virtual 17 - 17 Nov 2021

This online webinar will focus on Article 8 of the Minamata Convention and the challenge of evaluating and reducing emissions from utilities and industry. This short event will demonstrate the importance of data for informing policy decisions – the better the data, the more cost-effective the policy will be. Recent work in Indonesia has demonstrated how relatively simple data analyses can inform effective mercury reduction strategy at the national level.
